We are so pleased to announce that The Island Initiative’s project with the school children of the Tavahiroa Elementary School of Anaa Atoll has won ‘The Local Hero Award’ in the Ocean Awards 2020.

This award recognises the positive impact that our work, with the support of the Anaa community, has had on their local marine environment within the last year.
